The 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Arts Initiative is proud to announce three art exhibitions open throughout spring 2025. Please join us to celebrate the many artists whose works¡ªdrawings, paintings, stone seal prints, photographs, textiles, and more¡ªare on display. The exhibitions are open to the public Mondays ¨C Fridays, 9:00 a.m. ¨C 5:00 p.m., and by appointment on weekends at the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Building (5950 Proper View Avenue, Ukiah).
Carving Unbound
Carving Unbound features the craftsmanship of the Silicon Valley Seal Art Society. Meticulously carved in stone, each seal conveys the ingenuity and finesse of its creator and holds a world of symbolism in a tiny crimson square. The exhibition can be found on the second floor and is open until May 30.
The Kind Monk
The Kind Monk features the original illustrations of artist Huang Yunsong and celebrates the life of 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¡¯s founder, Venerable Master Hsuan Hua, through vivid images and engaging stories written by 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ alumna DM Jin Rou. The exhibition can be found on the second floor and is open until June 30.
91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Community Art Show
The fourth annual 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Community Art Show features over 160 works of art from across the 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ community and the IGDV Girls¡¯ and Boys¡¯ Schools, with artists ranging in age from 4 to 88 years old. Enjoy the bold ingenuity of our friends and peers in the final exhibition of the 2024¨C25 academic year. The exhibition can be found on the first floor and is open until May 30.
