By car

From the south
  1. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and drive north on Freeway 101 for about two hours.
  2. Exit on Talmage Road, exit?548A.
  3. Turn right to Talmage Road and drive for about five minutes.
  4. Arrive at the Front Gate of the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas.
From the north
  1. Take Freeway 101 South.
  2. Exit on Talmage Road, exit?548A.
  3. Turn onto Talmage Road and head east toward Talmage.
  4. Arrive at the Front Gate of the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas.

Flying in

You may either fly into San Francisco Airport [SFO], Oakland Airport [OAK], or Sonoma Airport.

From San Francisco Airport?[by public transportation]
  1. Take BART [Bay Area Rapid Transit,?] to the Embarcadero Station, a 45-minute ride. Leave BART by 2:00pm at the latest. Greyhound [] only makes one trip to Ukiah daily at 3:30pm.
  2. From the Embarcadero Station, walk to the Greyhound Station at 200 Folsom Street, San Francisco, 94105 b/t Main St & Beale. It is??[.4 mi -about 8 mins if you walk].
  3. Take the 3:30pm Greyhound bus to Ukiah, arriving at 6:30pm. Purchase Greyhound ticket in advance or allow ample time to purchase ticket at the station, if seats are available.
  4. 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ is about three miles from the Greyhound Station. Call Hey Taxi at?(707) 467-1200?to arrange a ride.
From San Francisco or Oakland Airport?[by car]

Cars are available to rent from Enterprise [] or Hertz [], and cars may be returned at the Ukiah branch location.
